Bobcats Announce Promotional Schedule

This season, 25 of the Bobcats 41 home games will feature Bobcats-themed giveaways on promotional nights. Bobcats promotional items will be given away at 20 of the 21 games in the team’s half-season ticket plan and all games included in the team’s 12-game weekend plan.

The team will open and close the season by providing T-shirts to all fans in attendance. Opening Night T-shirts, presented by Lowe’s Home Improvement, will be featured on Saturday, November 5, and fans will receive Finale T-shirts, courtesy of Sprite, when the Bobcats close the season against Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 19.

Bobcats fans will be able to keep the team’s schedule in front of them with schedule magnets for all fans on November 9, courtesy of Allen Tate, schedule cups for all fans on November 11, courtesy of Bojangles, and team calendars for the first 5,000 fans on November 23.

Four games this season will be a part of the Bobcats Bobble Head series for the first 5,000 fans in attendance, as Charlotte Metro Credit Union presents Emeka Okafor on December 23, Presbyterian Hospital presents Sean May on January 13 and Raymond Felton on February 10 and Primoz Brezec finishes the series on March 31.

Holiday Hoopla will be the theme on December 17, when the first 5,000 fans will receive Bobcats knit caps. Other special games include an afternoon game on January 16 to celebrate Martin Luther King Day and “Racing Night,” presented by Bud Light, on January 20, when the first 5,000 fans will receive Bud racing hats.

New items this season include a Bobcats basketball on November 26, courtesy of Sprite, a life-size Okafor growth chart on December 10, courtesy of Minute Maid, a Bobcats Dance Team calendar on December 30, a Rufus in the Box on January 10, a Bobcats duffel bag on February 3, a Bobcats cooler on March 6 and a Bobcats mini-basketball on March 11, courtesy of Corporate Express. All items will go to the first 5,000 fans in attendance at each game.

Other featured items are Thunderstix for the first 10,000 fans on January 27 and April 4, courtesy of Christenbury Eye Center, Sean May jerseys for the first 5,000 fans on January 30, Bobcats visors for the first 5,000 fans on March 18, Okafor kids jerseys for the first 5,000 kids on April 2 and team posters for all fans on April 15.
