Reeds Jewelers Partners With Bobcats Training Camp

The Bobcats announced their first-ever presenting partnership on Wednesday, September 20, signing Reeds Jewelers to become the official partner of the 2006 Charlotte Bobcats Training Camp in Wilmington, North Carolina.

“We are very proud that Reeds Jewelers has joined the Bobcats team and will be an active partner at the start of what will be a very exciting season,” Bobcats President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield said.  “Reeds Jewelers has shown great enthusiasm about being associated with the Bobcats brand and the positive momentum of our organization.  We look forward to this beginning of a long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnership.”

As part of the partnership, Reeds Jewelers will receive exclusive signage during the 2006 Bobcats Training Camp at UNC Wilmington’s Trask Coliseum.  The Reeds Jewelers location in Wilmington will host a private event with the full Bobcats team and the company will have promotions and a dedicated section at the public intrasquad scrimmage at the conclusion of the week-long stay in Wilmington.

Reeds Jewelers will also be featured prominently throughout the Bobcats official website, BobcatsBasketball.com, and will be the official partner of the special training camp section on the team’s website.  The Bobcats and Reeds Jewelers will also join forces to place co-branded ads in media outlets throughout Wilmington for promotion of the team’s intrasquad scrimmage and the team’s week-long stay in Wilmington.

Charlotte opens its 2006-07 training camp, presented by Reeds Jewelers, on Tuesday, October 3, at Trask Coliseum with two-a-day practices and will conclude the week with a public intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, October 8, at 6 p.m.
