Recap: Bulls Too Much For Bobcats

TURNING POINTS
The Bulls got off to a quick start led by Richard Hamilton’s 12 first-quarter points, as Chicago took a 34-20 lead into the second quarter… The Bobcats stayed even with the Bulls in the second period, but still found themselves down 52-37 at the half… In the second half the Bulls kept the Bobcats at bay, en route to the 32-point victory.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Bulls shot 48.2 percent (40 of 83) from the field, while the Bobcats hit only 29.8 percent (25 of 84)… Chicago got a lot of points from beyond the arc, hitting nine three-pointers, while the Bobcats… The Bulls won the battle on the boards 57-38… The Bulls also did a great job of distributing the ball, dishing out 29 assists on their 40 baskets… Both teams handled the ball very well, with the Bulls turning the ball over nine times, while the Bobcats matched a season low with only six turnovers.

BOBCATS PLAYERS OF THE GAME
Kemba Walker got off to a great start in the game, going on to tally 16 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Derrick Brown continued his strong play, finishing with 14 points and six rebounds.

BULLS PLAYER OF THE GAME
Richard Hamilton scored 12 points in the first quarter, before finishing with 22 points, six assists and two rebounds.

Gerald Henderson (13) was the only other Bobcats player to reach double figures… Bismack Biyombo finished the game with 13 rebounds to go along with seven points… D.J.Augustin (knee), DeSagana Diop (Achilles) and Reggie Williams (concussion) were all unable to play for the Bobcats.
