INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM
"I was just trying to put in my part and be active on the boards, and on offense and defense be active. Unfortunately we got the loss tonight, so that (his performance) doesn’t mean anything in my book."
- Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on his play tonight

"His improvement is steady. He has sustained two head injuries this year, and I really felt like over the last week, it’s the Michael that we drafted. He’s a little bit clearer, a little sharper, and quietly he spent an enormous amount of time on his jump shot, which will be three years before he gets his true return. I’ve seen guys in this league, over and over, develop as jump shooters so my point is he’s a work hard guy. People love to watch him play, and over the last two games it’s fun to see him play that way."
- Bobcats Head Coach Mike Dunlap on Michael Kidd-Gilchrist‘s offensive improvement

GAME NOTES
Eight of Ben Gordon’s 16 points came in the first four minutes after he entered the game… Deron Williams finished with 20 points and Brook Lopez added 16 to round out the Nets finishing in double-digit scoring… Ryan Evans grabbed 16 rebounds for Brooklyn.
