THE RESULT
Charlotte’s ninth season ended on a positive note for the Bobcats as they closed out the season winning eight out of their last 10 home games following a 105-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on April 17 at Time Warner Cable® Arena. Kemba Walker led the way with 24 points, while Josh McRoberts tied a career high with 20 more.

TURNING POINTS
The Bobcats got off to a hot start for their second-consecutive game. In the first quarter the Charlotte Bobcats opened the game up by shooting 75 percent (13-for-18), leading them to a 18 point advantage (34-16) heading into the second quarter…The Cavaliers battled back in the second frame and narrowed their deficit down to six (53-47) at the end of the first half...The Cavs took their first lead (77-76) of the game with 9:30 left to play. Charlotte answered with a 19-9 run to give them a nine point lead (95-86) started by a 3-point basket from Kemba Walker…With one minute remaining Josh McRoberts threw down an emphatic slam to give the Bobcats a seven-point advantage (99-92). From there the Cats cruised to victory.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Both teams shot well from the field however, the Bobcats shot better. Charlotte connected on 50.7 percent (37-for-73) of its shots compared to the Cavs converting 48.8 percent (39-for-80) of their attempts…The Cats did a good job of getting to the charity stripe and making it count. Charlotte finished with 30 attempts from the charity stripe and converted on 23 of them (.767)…The Bobcats won the battle of the boards, 40-35. Seven offensive rebounds led to the Cats winning in second-chance points, 11-4 …Charlotte took advantage of their speed and won in fast break points, 23-16.

The Charlotte Bobcats had 11 players to score in tonight’s contest…Michael Kidd-Gilchrist flirted with a double-double by scoring 11 points and pulling down 8 rebounds…Gerald Henderson had a productive outing scoring 15 points, owning three rebounds and contributing six assists…Bismack Biyombo scored eight points, controlled four rebounds and rejected three shots. Biyombo set a new Bobcats record for most multi-block performances in a season with 44. Emeka Okafor previously held the franchise high with 43…Jeffrey Taylor had six points and five rebounds…Ben Gordon recorded seven points and knocked down a shot from long range...Jeff Adrien finished with seven points and five rebounds.
