1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the States of North Carolina and South Carolina who are 18 years of age or older as of December 28, 2008. Employees, directors, officers, agents and affiliates of Bobcats Basketball, LLC (“Sponsor”), and Sponsor’s “Promotional Participants,” including, but not limited to, Lance, Inc., The National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and all of their parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, agents, affiliates and directors are not eligible. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. All entries become property of Sponsor.

2. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 12/28/2008 through 11:59 p.m. ET on 2/28/2009, enter the Sweepstakes by visiting www.bobcats.com and following the instructions to complete the online entry form. You must complete the entry form in its entirety to be eligible to win. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Multiple entries per person per day will be disqualified.

3. ALTERNATE MEANS OF ENTRY: On a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, handprint your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) plus daytime and evening telephone numbers (if you do not have a telephone, indicate “No Phone”) and your email address if applicable to:

4. RANDOM DRAWINGS: One (1) Grand Prize winner, four (4) runner up winners, and one hundred (100) secondary prize winners will be selected in random drawings conducted on or about 3/6/2009 from among all eligible online and mailed entries received. Winners will be notified by phone and/or mail and/or electronic mail on or about 3/6/2009. Decisions of Sponsor are final. Odds of winning any prize from the Sweepstakes will depend upon the number of eligible online entries and mailed entries received.

5. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:
(A) One (1) Grand Prize – The grand prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner”) of the Sweepstakes will receive the following:
(i) A basketball backboard bearing Charlotte Bobcats and Lance, Inc. trademarks, basketball decals, a basketball rack and ten (10) basketballs;
(ii) A ribbon cutting ceremony held on a date/time and at a location mutually determined by Sponsor, Lance, Inc. and the Grand Prize Winner, which will include: (a) an appearance by representatives of the Charlotte Bobcats; and (b) food and beverages sufficient to accommodate up to fifty (50) people;
(iii) A one (1) hour basketball clinic conducted by a player representative from the Charlotte Bobcats for the Grand Prize Winner and up to five (5) invitees of the Grand Prize Winner;
(iv) One (1) authentic Charlotte Bobcats jersey that includes the name of the Grand Prize Winner;
(v) Usage of a fifty (50) person suite in the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina (“Arena”) during a Charlotte Bobcats home game selected by Sponsor (the “Suite Game”);
(vi) One (1) opportunity to take a photograph on the main basketball court in the Arena prior to the start of the Suite Game;
(vii) Recognition of the Grand Prize Winner in the aforementioned suite during the Suite Game from representatives of Sponsor.
The approximate retail value of the grand prize is Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($6,500).
(B) Four (4) Runner-Up Prizes – Four (4) runner-up winners (each, a “Runner-Up”) of the Sweepstakes will receive the following:
(i) A four (4) pack of tickets to attend the Suite Game;
(ii) Dinner for the Runner-Up at the Arena during the Suite Game;
(iii) One (1) merchandise prize package from Sponsor consisting of a Charlotte Bobcats T-Shirt and assorted snacks from Lance, Inc.
The approximate retail value of each of the runner-up prizes is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000).
(C) One hundred (100) Secondary Prizes – One hundred (100) secondary prize winners will receive a Charlotte Bobcats/Lance, Inc. basketball.
The approximate retail value of each secondary prize is One Hundred Dollars ($100).

6. GENERAL RULES: Void outside of North Carolina and South Carolina and where prohibited by law or the rules, regulations and/or agreements of the National Basketball Association. Sponsor and its Promotional Participants are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, mis-communications, failed telephone, computer hardware, software and other technical failures of any kind, including injury or damage to any person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, unauthorized human intervention, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online regardless of cause that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participating of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. INTERNET CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user’s Internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user’s e-mail account to receive e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the online portion of promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the promotion as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the online portion, a notice will be posted online and the drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination and all eligible mailed-in entries. For purposes of determining eligibility and awarding of each of the prizes, entry will be declared made by the “authorized e-mail account holder.” Any damage made to the website will also be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized e-mail account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the entrant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, and no substitutions are allowed (except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted). All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All ground transportation, additional meals, food or drinks, tips, parking, souvenirs, insurance and other personal expenses not specifically included in the prize packages above are the sole responsibility of the winners and guests. There shall be no compensation or prize substitution if Grand Prize or Runner-Up winners or guests are unable to attend the Suite Game or other scheduled events associated with the prize packages by reason of illness, family emergency, personal events, terrorism, labor strikes, weather, or other acts beyond Sponsor’s control. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Potential Grand Prize winner and Runner-Up winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release Form within 7 days of notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected, time permitting. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected, time permitting. Secondary prizes will be shipped to each winner’s address listed on the entry form within 4-6 weeks of drawing date. Returned prizes will not be awarded. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its Promotional Participants to use the winning Entrant’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, the winning Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its Promotional Participants, and their respective directors, officers, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and assigns, against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses and liability arising out of acceptance or use of the respective prize(s). Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of a prize if they are selected as a winner of the Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor and its Promotional Participants are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or postage due mail.
