MKG Added to USA Mini-Camp

USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo announced on July 16 Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has been added to the roster of players attending the 2013 USA Basketball Men’s National Team mini-camp July 22-25 in Las Vegas. Cats Apply for Hornets

Bobcats Chairman Michael Jordan announced on May 21 that the organization has submitted its application to change the team’s name to the Charlotte Hornets starting with the 2014-15 season. The request now goes to the NBA Board of Governors, which next meets on July 18 in Las Vegas, where it would need a majority vote for approval.
