Smith
Charlotte Bobcats forward Theron Smith has undergone successful right knee arthroscopic surgery to investigate recurring swelling. Smith is currently on the Bobcats injured list and is expected to miss the rest of the season. The surgery was performed at Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital by team physician Dr. Glenn Perry.

Smith appeared in 33 games this season and averaged 3.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.4 minutes. He was placed on the injured list on March 23 with left knee swelling after missing the previous two games with the same injury. Smith spent one other time on the injured list from January 11 to January 30 with right knee tendinitis. He began the season on the injured list, having undergone right knee surgery in the offseason of the 2003-04 season.

The 6-8, 230-pound forward was selected by the Bobcats during the Charlotte Expansion Selection on June 22, 2004 after spending his rookie season in Memphis.
