ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE POLICIES
No alcohol (including non-alcoholic beer and wine) or illegal drugs may be brought into Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased by persons aged 21 or older once inside the arena. All alcohol sales can be terminated at any time at the discretion of Charlotte Bobcats Arena management, and all alcohol sales can and will require the buyer to provide legal identification. Patrons may purchase no more than two alcoholic beverages at once. During Charlotte Bobcats games alcohol sales will terminate at the end of the third quarter. The conclusion of alcohol sales will vary for each non-Bobcats event.

ANIMALS
Only service dogs, either certified or in-training, will be permitted in Charlotte Bobcats Arena. All other animals are prohibited.

ATM
ATM machines are conveniently located throughout Charlotte Bobcats Arena (two each on the Club Concourse and Uptown Concourse). Debit and credit payment is also available at most concessions, The Team Store and kiosks, and all restaurants and lounges.

AUTOGRAPHS
When autograph sessions are scheduled for players or other celebrities, fans will be notified in advance, and guidelines will be given at that time. When soliciting autographs independently, please obey the direction of the building staff and security and respect game participants and those around you. Special charitable requests should be submitted in writing to the Community Relations Department, on company/organization letterhead. BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Baby changing stations will be available in each restroom in Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

BANNERS AND SIGNS
Signs and banners are allowed if they meet the following requirements:

  • Non-flammable
  • Small enough for one person to hold
  • Do not block the view of other patrons
  • Do not block signage
  • Meet the approval of Charlotte Bobcats Arena

    BOBCATS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
    The Bobcats Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic initiative of the Charlotte Bobcats and the Charlotte Sting. A supplement to the teams' on-going community relations endeavors, the foundation enables the Bobcats and Sting to work in partnership with area organizations to support programs that offer enrichment to the children and youth of the Charlotte region.     BROADCASTS OF BOBCATS GAMES
    On radio, WNMX - MIX 106.1FM will air all 82 regular season games this year, plus the eight preseason contests. On television, fans will be able to watch the Bobcats over the air on WJZY-UPN46 as well as on cable television. Check BobcatsBasketball.com for a complete television schedule prior to the season.


    CAMERAS/CAMCORDERS
    Only small personal still camera equipment with a three inch lens or smaller may be brought into Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Please note that for certain events cameras may not be allowed into the arena. Video, audio, and professional camera and recording devices are prohibited. Fans may not reproduce any film, digital, video or audio recording for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte Sting, Charlotte Bobcats Arena and the NBA/WNBA.


    DANCE TEAM
    The popular Bobcats Dance Team is more than just an in-arena entertainment feature. The talented team of dancers make countless community and promotional appearances throughout the year.     DISABLED GUEST SERVICES
    Charlotte Bobcats Arena is committed to providing every guest with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The arena is one of the most accessible arenas in the U.S. and meets or exceeds all guidelines set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Special seating throughout the venue allows disabled guests flexibility in seat locations and price levels. Charlotte Bobcats Arena staff is ready and prepared to assist all guests.     DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS
    All of the following are expressly prohibited on the property of Charlotte Bobcats Arena:

  • Distribution of leaflets or other printed material
  • Distribution of products or performing of services, whether for a consideration or free
  • Conducting surveys or otherwise interfering with the free movement of guests

    DOOR OPENINGS
    Arena doors will open approximately 60 minutes prior to tipoff for Bobcats home games. Season Ticket Holders can enter 90 minutes prior to tipoff through Lowe's Home Court. For non-Bobcats events, door opening times will vary.


    ELEVATOR/ESCALATOR
    Escalators from the Club Concourse to the Uptown Concourse are situated on both sides of the arena; located outside of Section 104 on the 5th Street side of the arena and outside of Section 115 on the Trade Street side of the arena. Public elevators are located in both the southeast and southwest portions of the building, which are on the Trade Street side. There are also elevators located at the 5th Street Executive Entrance, which are exclusively for Suite, Royal Box, Terrace Table, Ledge Seat and Inner Circle Club Ticket Holders.

    EMERGENCIES/EVACUATION
    In the event of an emergency, all Charlotte Bobcats Arena personnel have been trained and instructed to assist you in evacuating the premises. Appropriate emergency light and sound alarms are located throughout the building, as well as in all public restrooms.

    EMERGENCY CARE
    Presbyterian Hospital Emergency Care Centers are located on both the Club and Uptown Concourses. Care centers can be found outside Section 112 on the Club Concourse and outside of Section 222 on the Uptown Concourse.     FIREARMS/WEAPONS
    No weapons of any kind are permitted inside Charlotte Bobcats Arena.


    GAME TIMES
    Charlotte Bobcats home games from Monday through Saturday will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday games begin at 6:00 p.m. and there is a special matinee start at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16. All times are subject to change. Game times may vary so please consult the most updated team schedule online at BobcatsBasketball.com.

    GUEST SERVICES
    Your questions and concerns can be addressed at either of the two Guest Services locations in the arena. On the Club Concourse, Guest Services is located outside of Section 102. On the Uptown Concourse, Guest Services is located outside of Section 207.


    INTERACTIVE ZONE
    The Sprite Rufus Room is located behind Rock the Rooftop on the Uptown Concourse. The area is designed to entertain children while providing them with an interactive basketball experience. All patrons are invited to bring young fans up to enjoy this area.

    LOCATION/DIRECTIONS
    Charlotte Bobcats Arena is located two blocks from the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets and is bordered by 5th Street, Trade Street, Caldwell Street and the Trolley lines.

  • I-85 from the South - Exit at the Billy Graham Parkway, take the Billy Graham Parkway to I-77 North, exit at either I-277 North or Trade Street.
  • I-85 from the North - Exit at I-77 exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.
  • I-77 from the South - Exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.
  • I-77 from the North - Exit at either Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East), 5th Street, Trade Street or John Belk Freeway (I-277).
  • Brookshire Freeway (I-277) from the West - Exit at either I-77 South or Brevard Street.
  • NC 49/US 29 from the Northeast - Follow Tryon Street to Uptown, the Charlotte Bobcats Arena is one block east of the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets.
  • Airport - Follow Josh Birmingham Parkway 1.5 miles to Billy Graham Parkway South. Proceed on Billy Graham to I-77 North. Exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.

    LOST AND FOUND
    If you have lost an item during the event, please contact the nearest Charlotte Bobcats Arena staff member for assistance. You may also turn in found items at our Guest Services locations. Items will be held for 30 days. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity. On non-event days, please call the Charlotte Bobcats Arena security department at (704) 688-8730.

    LOST CHILDREN
    Children should find the nearest Charlotte Bobcats Arena staff member should they become lost. Lost children will be taken to the Guest Services location on the Club Concourse at Section 102. Parents looking for a lost child should proceed to that location. To avoid losing a child while at Charlotte Bobcats Arena, you can stop by our Guest Services locations to tag your child with a wristband that lists your section, row, and seat location.


    MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND BANQUETS

    MESSAGES ON SCOREBOARD
    All requests must be made three (3) days prior to game day with a donation to the Bobcats Charitable Foundation required. Requests can be made via e-mail to info@bobcatsbasketball.com or by phone (704) 688-8860.


    OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE
    No outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles or cans may be brought into Charlotte Bobcats Arena.


    PAY PHONES
    Pay phones are located in the Main Lobby near the Box Office.

    PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
    CATS (Charlotte Area Rapid Transit) offer many alternatives to driving to the arena. Buses, Trolleys, the Gold Rush and eventually the Light Rail will service the Center City and beyond.

  • Taxi services are available and can be found outside the 5th Street entrance.
  • Pick-up & Drop-off: Pick-up and drop-off is permitted at the Trade Street entrance as long as the regular traffic flow is not impeded.


    RESTROOMS
    A total of 44 restrooms are conveniently located throughout the arena, 22 men’s restrooms and 22 women’s restrooms. There are also several family restrooms in the arena.

    RUFUS LYNX
    Charlotte Bobcats mascot Rufus Lynx (named for the scientific name of the Bobcat, Lynx Rufus) uses all of his natural-born talent to entertain, excite and amaze fans of all ages with his unique brand of high-flying, slam-dunking action. There’s more too, as his zany and fun-loving stunts are displayed throughout the arena.

  • Requests for appearances by Rufus Lynx must be received in writing at least one month prior to the event.
  • Requests must be submitted using the Charlotte Bobcats Mascot Appearance Request Form located on our website at BobcatsBasketball.com


    SECURITY
    Bag Searches:
    Please be patient in assisting us in providing our guests a safe environment. All bags will be searched as you enter Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

  • Small handbags and small purses are allowed in Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
  • Large bags, coolers and backpacks are prohibited.
    CMPD Presence: There will be a Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department presence at Charlotte Bobcats Arena for all events.
    Who To Report Issues To: We all must work together to provide a safe atmosphere for our patrons. Please report any suspicious behavior to a Guest Services staff member.

    SMOKING
    Charlotte Bobcats Arena is a smoke-free facility with a limited number of designated smoking terraces. Smoking is permitted only in the designated areas of outdoor terraces and prohibited in any other area of Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Guests who fail to comply with Charlotte Bobcats Arena’s smoking policy will be asked to cease smoking or to move to a designated smoking area. Those continuing to violate the policy will be ejected from the facility. Please dispose of all items before entering Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

    STAIRS
    Stairwells are located in each of the four corners of the building and go through each level of the arena.

    STROLLERS
    Strollers are allowed in Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Fold-up strollers should be stored under your seat. Non-folding strollers should be checked at Guest Services.


    THE TEAM STORE
    The Team Store is located on the Plaza Level – Trade Street side of Charlotte Bobcats Arena – with an entrance also on the Club Concourse. In addition to all Bobcats game nights, The Team Store will be open Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to satisfy all of your merchandise needs (store hours may vary due to scheduled events in the building).     TICKETING Children over two years of age must have a ticket in order to gain entrance to Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Children under two years may enter without a ticket but must sit on their parent's or guardian's lap.

    Please Note: Some events will require all attendees, regardless of age, to present a ticket for entry. Please check the event's ticket policies at the time of purchase.


    WATER FOUNTAINS
    Water fountains are located throughout Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
