Thank you for all the support you have given our team during our first two seasons. Your warm welcome and commitment to the Bobcats has meant a great deal to our players and coaching staff. We are proud to represent the City of Charlotte and to call the Carolinas our home.

I am excited to announce that I will be returning as head coach of the Bobcats for the upcoming season. In taking the time to think about my decision, I reflected on how proud I am of the progress we have made over the past two seasons and where we are headed in the future. Our plan since the beginning was to find a core group of players and grow together. Consistency is very important, and by continuing as head coach, I feel we are in great position to keep on track with our plan – making strides by building a winning foundation from within and developing a system that focuses on teamwork, sacrifice and trust in one another.

The way our guys ended the season reinforced how much I like our team, and how professional our players are. The franchise-best winning streak we closed out the past season on was a great start for next season. Our guys will work hard this summer and continue to grow, returning next season stronger and with a winner’s mentality that will take us to the next level. The commitment to winning has always been there, and that is critical to our future success.

Our players and coaches have consistently worked hard and we have always believed in ourselves. Their energy is contagious and motivates me to give everything I have to make our team better. And I believe that energy carries over to you - our fans - whose loyalty and support is a key element in our eventual growth into a playoff contender.
