November 22, 2007 - The Charlotte Bobcats have much to be thankful for as we enter the holiday season. Matt Rochinski of bobcats.com checked in with the team this week to see what they'll appreciate most on Thanksgiving.
November 15, 2007 - Bobcats fans will have the chance for four of their favorite players to participate in the 2008 NBA All-Star Game. Bobcats center Emeka Okafor, forward Gerald Wallace and guards Jason Richardson and Raymond Felton were selected to appear on this year’s All-Star ballot.
November 10, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats forward Adam Morrison underwent successful anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery this morning to repair the tear in his left knee. The procedure was performed by team physician Dr. Glenn Perry at Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte.
November 1, 2007 - Bobcats forward Emeka Okafor chose not to sign a contract extension with the team by the Wednesday, October 31 deadline, meaning that Okafor will be a restricted free agent following the conclusion of the 2007-08 season.
October 24, 2007 - The Bobcats hosted FAN JAM 2007 Presented by Ticketmaster on Wednesday at Charlotte Bobcats Arena, and despite the dreary and rainy conditions outside, the atmosphere inside was filled with activity and excitement.

    October 21, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats forward Adam Morrison suffered a left knee sprain with 5:23 left in the third quarter of Saturday's preseason contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. X-rays taken immediately following the game came back negative. Today’s 9 a.m. MRI showed however, a partial to complete tear of the ACL, and Morrison could potentially face season-ending surgery.

  • October 5, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats forward Sean May will miss the entire 2007-08 season after an exploratory procedure and several evaluations on his right knee revealed that he will need microfracture surgery.

  • September 25, 2007 - The Charlotte Bobcats announced that Dell Curry and Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues will assume the dual roles of team ambassadors and broadcasters. Curry will become a permanent fixture on the weekly “Bobcats Insider” television program, while Bogues will join the Bobcats radio team for 50 games. The Bobcats also announced that Mike Sanders will join the team as an assistant coach.
    September 21, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff and General Manager Rod Higgins announced the hiring of Scott Howard as Director of Scouting, Rich Sheubrooks as Director of Global Scouting and Darrel Johnson, Dennis Nutt and Jim Thrash as Scouts.
    August 29, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff and General Manager Rod Higgins announced the team has re-signed guard Jeff McInnis, who became an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
    August 24, 2007 - Writers from a dozen official NBA team websites recently responded to this question: Which club has enjoyed the best 2007 offseason? Writers were asked to rank teams 1 through 5, but were not allowed to include the squad they cover within their top-five ranking.     July 25, 2007 - Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff announced that the team has ,u>signed Jermareo Davidson.     July 19, 2007 - Long before he became President & Chief Operating Officer of the Charlotte Bobcats, Whitfield chose to start a basketball camp unlike any offered around the country. He opted to create a camp that would not only teach the fundamentals of basketball, but even more importantly, would educate its participants on the importance of academic achievement and the distinct value of drug awareness. Thus, the Achievements Unlimited Basketball School was born.
    July 17, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff announced that the team has re-signed guard Matt Carroll, who became an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
    July 16, 2007 - The Orlando Summer League began July 9 and ran through July 13. Other participating teams were Chicago, Indiana, New Jersey and Orlando. The Bobcats finished with a 2-3 record in 2007 in their first summer league running new Head Coach Sam Vincent's system.
    July 6, 2007 - On the night of the 2007 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats acquired guard Jason Richardson and the draft rights to Jermareo Davidson from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Brandan Wright, whom the Bobcats selected with eighth pick. Richardson recently had a conference call with members of the local and national media to discuss his trade to Charlotte.

    May 19, 2007 - A little over two weeks after playing a round of golf with Tiger Woods and attending the 133rd running of the Kentucky Derby, Bobcats Managing Member of Basketball Operations Michael Jordan stood alone at the starting line of the NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge with microphone in hand.
