McInnis Part Of MDA Muscle Team

Bobcats guard Jeff McInnis and mascot Rufus participated at Muscle Team 2007, a private event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association two weeks ago at the Panther's Den in Bank of America Stadium.

Athletes were paired with a child who has a neuro-muscular disease, and throughout the night, the athletes and their buddy played games and participated in interactive entertainment, such as videogames, putt-putt and pop-a-shot.

This marked the third year in a row that the Bobcats have been involved in the Muscle Team event. Guard Matt Carroll participated in 2005 and 2006, while former Bobcats guard Kevin Burleson was a first-time participant in 2006.
