New draft picks Adam Morrison and Ryan Hollins and returning team members Raymond Felton, Sean May, Alan Anderson and Kevin Burleson led the Bobcats into mini-camp at Charlotte Bobcats Arena as they prepared for the Orlando Summer League. The team began its mini-camp on Monday, July 3, at Presbyterian Hospital Training Center.

The Orlando Summer League began Monday, July 10, and ran through Friday, July 14. Other participating teams were Chicago, Indiana, New Jersey and Orlando. The Bobcats finished tied with Orlando and Indiana for the best record in the summer league at 3-2. Adam Morrison and Sean May were both named to the Orlando Summer League All-League Team.

    SUMMER WRAPUP WITH J.B. BICKERSTAFF
    The Bobcats wrapped up yet another successful summer league in Orlando, posting a 3-2 record. It marked the fourth time in the last three years Charlotte has posted the best record or tied for the best record in its summer league.     GAME 5: INJURIES TAKE TOLL IN SUMMER FINALE
    The injury toll finally took full effect in the finale of the Orlando Summer League as Charlotte dropped a 106-93 decision against Indiana on Friday. The Bobcats finished the week’s play with a 3-2 record.

    GAME 4: BOBCATS SUFFER FIRST SUMMER SETBACK
    The combination of Sean May and Adam Morrison continued to shine on Thursday at the Orlando Summer League, as the duo combined for 63 points in Charlotte’s 94-87 loss to New Jersey.

    GAME 3: BOBCATS TOP HOST TEAM IN ORLANDO
    The Bobcats improved to 3-0 in the Orlando Summer League with a 103-87 win over the host Magic, as seven players scored seven points or more -- led by 24 from rookie Adam Morrison -- and the team committed only seven turnovers.

    GAME 2: MORRISON LEADS DRAMATIC WIN
    Rookie Adam Morrison, the third overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, tallied 29 points – including 25 in the first half – and led the Bobcats to an 88-87 win over Chicago to improve to 2-0 in the Orlando Summer League.

    GAME 1: MAY IMPRESSES IN DEBUT WIN
    Sean May had a successful debut in his return to the court, pacing the Bobcats to an 83-65 win over Miami in the opening game of the 2006 Orlando Summer League. May finished with 22 points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes in his first game action since December 20 and his subsequent right knee surgery.
