Derrick Brown wrapped up his appearance in the Orlando Pro Summer League with Utah on Friday, scoring 11 points with three rebounds to help lead the Jazz to a 70-60 win over Oklahoma City and a 3-2 overall record. After scoring 25 points on Thursday, Brown stayed in the starting lineup and led the Jazz to a second-straight win. In his five games in Orlando, Brown led the Jazz with 12.6 points per game on 53.1 percent shooting (26 of 49) from the field, while bringing down an average of 3.0 rebounds. While Brown arguably had the best summer of anyone on the Jazz, he was slighted a bit by the selection committee in Orlando as he failed to make either the First or Second All-Summer League Teams.

Derrick Brown had a huge game for the Utah Jazz at the Orlando Pro Summer League on Thursday, finishing with a team-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting and adding five rebounds. Brown was inserted back into the starting lineup after coming off the bench the last two games, and it paid huge dividends for the Jazz as they emerged with a 92-84 overtime win against the host Magic. The Bobcats have to be happy with Brown's performance in Orlando, as he seems to be getting better each time out.

Derrick Brown had his best game thus far of the Orlando Pro Summer League on Wednesday, finishing with 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting, three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 19 minutes off the bench for Utah. Unfortunately, Brown's contribution wasn't enough to get the Jazz their second win in as many days, as they fell 95-79 to the Indiana Pacers. Brown has stayed consistent in his three games in Orlando, averaging 9.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Brown scored eight points with one rebound, one steal and one block in 18 minutes. One day after being handled by the Boston Celtics by 31 points, Brown's Utah squad bounced back to defeat a New Jersey Nets/Philadelphia 76ers split squad, 83-68, giving the Bobcats rookie his first summer win. After getting the start for the Jazz on Monday, Brown came off the bench as Utah's reserves outscored its starters, 48-35.

Derrick Brown had a good showing in his first game in the Orlando Pro Summer League on Monday night. Brown scored nine points and brought down three rebounds in 15 minutes while playing for the Utah Jazz in an 87-56 loss to the Boston Celtics squad. Granted, Brown would have probably liked to have his first win, but it's good to see the Bobcats second round pick have a good showing his first time out.
