Send A Get Well Wish To Your Favorite Bobcats Player
January 27, 2006

Entering tonight’s game against the Heat, the Bobcats will only have 10 healthy bodies available after suffering another string of injuries that have depleted their bench and left them battered and bruised. The Bobcats have suited up 10 players or fewer in the last nine games.

Now’s your chance to wish the Bobcats well by sending your favorite player your own personalized get well message. E-mail your message to insider@bobcatsbasketball.com and we’ll deliver it to him today.

Charlotte currently has five players sidelined with injuries:
Gerald Wallace suffered a medial tibia bone bruise on January 20 against Orlando, Emeka Okafor sprained his right ankle on January 10 against Houston, Kareem Rush remains sidelined with a left index finger sprain that has caused him to miss 13 games, Sean May underwent a second arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on January 19, and Keith Bogans went out on January 21 in Milwaukee with a Grade 1 MCL sprain in his right knee.

With Wallace, Okafor and Rush unable to play, the team is missing its top three scorers and a combined 57.1 points and 26.9 rebounds, which accounts for 60.0 percent of their scoring offense and 66.4 percent of their rebounding. On the season, the team has 130 games missed due to injury, had 16 starting lineups and had 12 of the team’s 15 players start at least one game this season.
