MOST FRIENDLY
BK: By far it would be Jake the Snake (Voskuhl). He’s the nicest guy in here.
G-FORCE: Yeah, but don’t forget about Kevin Burleson, hands down. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He’s always cheerful and always smiling.
BIGGEST BULLY
BK: That’s easy -- Bernard Robinson. He’s got the quickest temper. If you didn’t know him, he’d make you nervous. If you don’t know him, I would just stay away from him.
G-FORCE: Yeah B-Rob bullies people -- he’s mean. B-Rob is like a predator, like that snake that sits in the corner. If you don’t mess with him, he won’t mess with you. But if you get him started, you’re in for a long day.
BEST LOOKING
BK: How could I go anywhere beyond myself? A distant second would be...
I don’t even know. The rest of the guys are just so far behind that it doesn’t make sense to even say anyone else.
G-FORCE: Come on now, you know that we have a couple younger guys on the team. Raymond still has his baby face, so I’m going to go with Raymond.
BIGGEST CLOWN
BK: We have a lot of clowns on this team, but I would have to say Jumaine Jones. He’s quiet with everyone else, but not us.
G-FORCE: I’d have to say Alan (Anderson). He always joking around and keeping the guys laughing.
MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED OFF THE COURT
BK: I’m going to go with Kevin Burleson, because he can talk his way in and out of everything. He’s got a way of getting you to the point where you’re tired of hearing him talk and are going to give him whatever he wants. You’re better off just surrendering right away.
G-FORCE: I think Brevin’s got to look at himself on this one because he’s just the little nag of the team. He’s going to keep everything going and be in the middle of everything. If we were in school, he would probably be the one who would be able to get the guy who normally wouldn’t do something to do it.
MOST DRAMATIC
BK: Melvin Ely is the most dramatic. Anything and everything that happens to him, you will know!
G-FORCE: If it happened to your great uncle in 1962, Melvin will have a story about how it happened to him too. But the most dramatic has to be Primoz Brezec. He is the drama king. He makes things a lot bigger than they really are.
WORST ROOKIE MOMENT
BK: Honestly, we haven’t had a lot of those moments.
G-FORCE: Whatever, they are all lazy and don’t want to do anything that a
rookie is supposed to do. We ask them to bring something and you got to argue and fuss with them. I tell you, rookies these days.
SEAN MAY: Prima donnas, huh?
G-FORCE: That’s right, prima donnas, but you all aren’t even that good.
CLASS NERD
BK: Matt Carroll… I mean, just look at him. He just looks like one of those kids. Maybe it’s that Notre Dame education.
G-FORCE: Emeka is the braniac, but I think Brevin is the nerd as far as life on and off the court.
MOST TEAM SPIRIT
BK: I think that goes with Jake. I’ve never seen a guy stand up and give everybody five for the whole year like Snake does. You know what though, Snake already got an award, so give that one to Alan. He’s got so much energy over there on the sidelines. I don’t think we even have a chair for him on the bench because he’s standing up the whole time.
G-FORCE: You can go with Jake, Alan and K.B. Those three pretty much keep everything going. When we’re down, those three are always there to give you a pep talk and get you through some of the things you’re going through.
PROM KING
BK: That’s Melvin Ely because he would love to pull out some funny outfit and walk around school. He’d have one of those Chicago gangster suits on with a Lenny Kravitz shirt and get his braids done right.
G-FORCE: Nah, man. The prom king is me, most definitely! I’m the prom king of them all. I was prom king in high school, so I fit the bill.
BEST DRESSED
BK: No question it would have to be me. It’s just that look you have to you and the aura and energy that comes off of you. Gerald tries to stay close to me, though.
G-FORCE: I admit, I have to give it to Brevin. It’s just the
professionalism that he has. He’s been in the league for like 10 or 15 years, so he’s had that experience. He definitely has more style than me. I’m not into wearing ties yet, so I think he separates himself by wearing the tie.
WORST DRESSED
BK: The worst dressed is Sean May. He has his own style, but the problem is that it’s just not a style yet.
G-FORCE: Yeah, there are so many guys you can take your pick from on this one. You can go with Melvin, Sean or Emeka. Emeka definitely used to be the worst, but I think it would be Sean now.
MOST IMPROVED DRESSER
BK: You know who has gotten better? Emeka, only because he’s been hurt, so he’s been forced to get better with the new dress code rule. But if he wasn’t hurt, he would definitely be under the worst dressed.
G-FORCE: I’m not saying he’s good, but Melvin has gotten a whole lot better since last year with his leather suits, the crazy jackets and all that.
