

Bobcats Select Dudley With 22nd Pick In 2007 NBA Draft
The Charlotte Bobcats selected forward Jared Dudley from Boston College with the 22nd overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft on Thursday.
Dudley, 6-8, 225-pounds, was named the 2006-07 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Year after averaging a collegiate career-best 19.0 points and 8.3 rebounds.
He finished his career ranked fifth on BC’s career scoring list with 2,071 points and ranks among BC’s career leaders in field goals made (seventh, 689), free throws made (fourth, 573), rebounding (seventh, 936) and steals (eighth, 176). Dudley also played and started in every game that he appeared at Boston College (130).
A unanimous All-ACC First Team selection, Dudley started all 30 games as a senior and played an ACC-best 622 minutes. A John Wooden Award finalist, he posted 10 double-doubles, including a season-high 30 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Michigan State.
