RICHARDSON MEETS THE MEDIA
July 6, 2007 - On the night of the 2007 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats acquired guard Jason Richardson and the draft rights to Jermareo Davidson from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Brandan Wright, whom the Bobcats selected with eighth pick. Davidson was the 36th overall pick in the second round. Richardson recently had a confernce call with members of the local and national media to discuss his trade to Charlotte.

BOBCATS SIGN JARED DUDLEY
July 4, 2007 - Charlotte Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff announced Wednesday that the team has come to terms with Jared Dudley, the Bobcats first round draft pick.

July 2, 2007 - The Charlotte Bobcats two 2007 draft picks, Boston College's Jared Dudley (22nd overall) and Alabama's Jermareo Davidson (36th overall), were in town to meet with the local media for the first time on Monday at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

BOBCATS ACTIVE DURING 2007 NBA DRAFT
June 28, 2007 - The Bobcats kept busy during the 2007 NBA Draft on Thursday, acquiring guard/forward Jason Richardson and Jermareo Davidson (36th overall pick ) from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for the Brandan Wright (eighth overall pick). Charlotte also drafted forward Jared Dudley with the 22nd overall pick.

June 27, 2007 - Charlotte's preparation for the 2007 NBA Draft wrapped up Wednesday at the Presbyterian Hospital Training Center at Charlotte Bobcats Arena with UNC-Charlotte’s De’Angelo Alexander, Oklahoma’s Nate Carter, Memphis’ Jeremy Hunt and Maryland’s D.J. Strawberry all taking part in the Bobcats final predraft workouts.

June 20, 2007 - Join us for an NBA Draft Party on the Plaza as the Bobcats present Draft Day Live on June 28. Festivities include a live pre-draft show broadcast beginning at 6 p.m. on MyTV12. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive Draft Day Live T-shirts.

DRAFT PARTY RAFFLE
June 20, 2007 - Three lucky people and their guest will win the chance to have a meet-and-greet with the newest Bobcats players at the Bobcats press conference on June 29 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Fans can purchase raffle tickets for $5 at Draft Day Live on June 28, with all proceeds benefiting the Bobcats Charitable Foundation.

BOBCATS LAND EIGHTH PICK AT LOTTERY
May 22, 2007 - Things went according to plan for the Bobcats at the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday as they stayed in the same spot they started and will be making the eighth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft on June 28 in New York City. However, many of the teams at the “top” learned a hard lesson in Secaucus, New Jersey, as the three teams with the most chances to land the top pick all fell out of the top three slots.

BOBCATS SLOTTED EIGHTH HEADING INTO LOTTERY
April 20, 2007 - The Bobcats might have come up a few games short of making the playoffs for the first time in franchise history this season, but they caught a bit of a break, winning a tiebreaker over the Knicks and Kings after all three teams finished with 33 wins in 2006-07. After winning the blind draw, Charlotte is now slotted in the eighth spot heading into the NBA Draft Lottery.
