MORRISON MEETS CHARLOTTE MEDIA AND FANS
The Bobcats introduced the third overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Adam Morrison, to the Charlotte-area media and Bobcats Season Ticket Holders on Thursday, June 29, during a press conference at the Presbyterian Hospital Training Center at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

BOBCATS DRAFT MORRISON AND HOLLINS
With the third pick in Wednesday's NBA Draft, the Bobcats selected Adam Morrison, a forward who led the nation in scoring last year as a junior at Gonzaga. They then added UCLA center Ryan Hollins with the 50th pick.

BACKSTAGE WITH BERNIE: PRE-DRAFT
The 2006 NBA Draft is just two days away, and in a little more than 48 hours, Charlotte will know who its two newest Bobcats will be. Bobcats Gereral Manager and Head Coach Bernie Bickerstaff sat down for an interview last week to discuss the upcoming draft, as well as the addition of Michael Jordan to the Bobcats ownership group.

DRAFT WORKOUTS CONTINUE
Player workouts for the 2006 NBA Draft continued Saturday at the Presbyterian Hospital Training Center at Charlotte Bobcats Arena with UCLA’s Ryan Hollins, Wake Forest’s Chris Ellis and Russian Superleague player Vladimir Veremeenko all in town.

Michael Jordan was in attendance for player workouts on Thursday, June 22, at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. It was the first time since becoming part owner of the Bobcats that Jordan attended a workout. BOBCATS TO PLAY IN ORLANDO SUMMER LEAGUE
The Bobcats will have their work cut out for them this summer as they head to the 2006 Pepsi Pro Summer League, hosted by the Orlando Magic at the RDV Sportsplex, July 10-14. The 15-game event will feature Charlotte, Orlando, 2006 NBA Champion Miami and 2006 Eastern Conference playoff teams Chicago, Indiana and New Jersey.

HICKS BREAKS DOWN PRE-DRAFT CAMP
Bobcats Assistant General Manager Karl Hicks was in Orlando for the Pre-Draft Camp this week along with General Manager and Head Coach Bernie Bickerstaff and the rest of Charlotte’s coaching staff. BobcatsBasketball.com visited with Hicks when he returned from the Pre-Draft Camp.

BOBCATS ACQUIRE 50th PICK
The Bobcats have obtained the 50th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, held on June 28 at Madison Square Garden. Orlando elected to pass along its right to Sacramento’s pick to the Bobcats.

BOBCATS TO PICK THIRD
The Bobcats have landed the third overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, which will be held on June 28 in New York. Toronto had the fifth-best shot at landing the No. 1 pick entering the Draft Lottery, but Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo saw his team's envelope opened last. The Chicago Bulls (with a pick from the New York Knicks) will choose second.
