WHAT THEY'RE SAYING AROUND THE WEB
Marshall is a prototypical pass-first point guard taken to the extreme, as evidenced by his just 6.2 field-goal attempts per game in 32.9 minutes. He possesses an uncanny, second nature feel for the game, always instinctively playing with his head up and quickly moving the ball to the highest percentage scoring opportunity. Managing the game clearly comes very easy for him both in the half court and transition, as he looks as natural as any player in the country finding teammates for easy baskets.
A true point guard who is always looking to set up his teammates for easy looks. Takes great care of the basketball. Showed the ability to create offense for himself as well late.
ESPN - CHAD FORD
Marshall has emerged as the best passer in college basketball over the past month. His ability to see the floor and get teammates involved has been amazing. Everyone from Harrison Barnes to John Henson has greatly benefitted from his presence on the floor. His unselfishness and basketball IQ are off the charts. If he was a better athlete, he'd be a lock for the high lottery.
