Bernard Robinson and Brevin Knight serve up food at the Hoops and Hope Dinner.

As part of the NBA Cares initiative, the Bobcats were active in the community this holiday season through 2005 Season of Giving. Through NBA Cares, the league, players and teams will raise and contribute $100 million for charity, donate more than one million hours of hands-on volunteer service to communities worldwide and build more than 100 places where kids can learn and play over the next five years.

    BOBCATS HOST HOLIDAY HOOPS CLINIC
    December 22, 2005 - On Thursday night, 80 kids had the opportunity to be taught by some of the most elite basketball players in the world as the Bobcats hosted a Holiday Hoops Clinic as part of the Bobcats continuing Season of Giving in 2005.

    FELTON AND RUSH SPONSOR SHOPPING SPREES

    HOLIDAY PARTY FOR KIDS A SUCCESS
    December 16, 2005 - The Bobcats hosted their second annual Holiday Party for Kids on December 16 at the Extravaganza Depot. To say thank you to their fans, the Bobcats invited over 220 children of season ticket holders to join with them in a holiday celebration. While the night was designed to be full of fun and excitement, it was also a teaching tool to help the kids learn the importance of sharing what they have with others.

    STREET TURKEYS A SUCCESS AGAIN
    November 23, 2005 - In what has become an annual tradition, the Charlotte Bobcats and WFNZ Sports Radio 610 AM/1660 AM’s “Primetime with the Packman Show” teamed up to host Street Turkeys at Charlotte Bobcats Arena on Wednesday, November 23.
