On Friday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m., the Charlotte Bobcats will host the 6th annual Cool School Field Trip at Time Warner Cable Arena. Over the years, this event has become a cornerstone of the Bobcats commitment to education across the Carolinas, and this year we invite middle school students in grades six through eight to attend the preseason game between the Bobcats and the Memphis Grizzlies and participate in the curriculum-based activities planned throughout the morning.

This field trip is designed to reward students who excel in school by demonstrating outstanding performance, character and service in the classroom. Identifying which students should participate in the field trip is at the discretion of each school or school district. Our goal is to fill Time Warner Cable Arena with deserving students, teachers and administrators and reward them for a job well done.

As this game continues to “sell out” every year, submitting your registration form as quickly as possible is the only way to ensure your students and teachers will be able to participate this year. Please provide as accurate a number as possible when submitting the registration form, as it will not be possible to add tickets to your allotment at a later date.

New for 2009 is an online registration system. Simply open the submission form here and fill out the information to register for this year’s event. After submitting your information, a confirmation email will be sent within three working days. If you do not receive a confirmation email in that timeframe, or to request that the registration process be done via fax, please call (704) 688-8791.
