Season of Giving

Annually, the Charlotte Bobcats hosts events to give back to those with the greatest needs during the holidays. At the Annual Hoops and Hope Thanksgiving Dinner, more than 150 individuals from the Charlotte area are treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal at a local restaurant with Bobcats players and team executives.

The Charlotte Bobcats partner with a local hunger relief agency and Bobcats fans, for the Second Harvest Food Bank Canned Food Drive to collect canned foods, non perishable food items and cash donations to support needy families.

The Charlotte Bobcats partner with the kids of season ticket holders for the annual Holiday Party for Kids and enjoy a fun filled evening with Bobcats players, dance team members and Rufus. Kids of season ticket holders bring an unwrapped toy which is then shared with needy children in our community.

The Salvation Army Center of Hope Toy Giveaway is possible because of the generosity of our youngest fans who bring toys to the Holiday Party for Kids. The toys are delivered by our players on Christmas Eve to the children at the center.
