December 11, 2007 - Giving is what makes the holidays special, and the Charlotte Bobcats made this holiday season memorable for more than 275 children as they hosted their Annual Holiday Party for Kids at the Extravaganza Depot.

BOBCATS BEGIN DUNK HUNGER CAMPAIGN
November 5, 2007 - The Bobcats continued their ongoing mission to make a difference in the Charlotte community on Monday as they kicked off the Bobcats Season of Giving with the unveiling a 25-foot high canned food structure that will be displayed in the lower lobby of Charlotte Bobcats Arena through December 21.

May 29, 2007 - Bobcats guard Jeff McInnis and mascot Rufus participated at Muscle Team 2007, a private event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association two weeks ago at the Panther's Den in Bank of America Stadium.

OKAFOR AND ANDERSON MAKE HOSPITAL VISIT
April 2, 2007 - Bobcats Emeka Okafor and Alan Anderson spent Monday, April 2 with approximately 25 children at Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital.

BOBCATS ACTIVE WITH TWO MORE COMMUNITY APPEARANCES
March 17, 2007 - The Bobcats continued their ongoing efforts to be active in the Charlotte community last week, making two special community relations appearances.Matt Carroll Carroll, Emeka Okafor, Jeff McInnis, Ryan Hollins and Primoz Brezec “hit the books” on March 13 for a guys night at ImaginOn with over 40 middle school boys to kick of Charlotte’s “Guys Read” program. The teaching continued on March 15 as Derek Anderson visited approximately 20 at-risk middle school students as part of the Communities in Schools initiative.

MORRISON HOLDS CLINIC FOR KIDS WITH DIABETES
March 11, 2007 - Adam Morrison championed the cause of coping with the life-long disease of diabetes by hosting 53 children during a special one-hour basketball clinic on Friday night, all of whom — like Morrison — have diabetes.

MEET-THE-TEAM EVENT FOR KIDS CLUB MEMBERS
March 11, 2007 - The Bobcats Kids Club held a two-hour social and autograph signing at the Presbyterian Hospital Training Facility at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The event drew nearly 125 children who enjoyed an array of activities, including dinner, autographs and a group photograph with the team.

February 22, 2007 - Ryan Hollins, who was accompanied by an energetic Rufus, visited and talked extensively with 37 students at Derita Christian Academy ranged from 4-18 years old.

February 22, 2007 - Bobcats President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield was a panel guest for “Inside the Leader’s Studio” at South Charlotte Middle School, which was an adaptation of the “Inside the Actor’s Studio” television show hosted on Bravo.

HUDSON AN ISPIRATION ON AND OFF COURT
February 20, 2007 - His game was played Thursday, one of the opening events on a crowded NBA All-Star Weekend schedule. The audience wasn’t as large as the one that packed Thomas & Mack Center to see the NBA’s best players on Sunday, and there was no live coverage on national TV. None of that mattered to Mike Hudson. He sounded like one of the happiest guys in town.

BOBCATS SHOW RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS
February 14, 2007 - For the third consecutive year, the Bobcats celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day. Charlotte’s players split into the two groups, with one holding a Teacher Appreciation Day at Sedgefield Elementary and the other bringing Valentine’s wishes to the women and children at the Salvation Army Center of Hope.

BOBCATS VISIT HEMBY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
February 13, 2007 - While Tuesday brought a chilling rain and bitter cold temperatures to Charlotte, it was a rare sunny winter day on Monday. For a select faction of ailing children at Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital, a ray of hope also came from another direction.

ROLLIN' BOBCATS MIKE HUDSON HEADED TO LAS VEGAS
February 7, 2007 - Mike Hudson, center and power forward for the Charlotte Rollin' Bobcats, has been selected for the East squad in the 2007 NBA/NWBA All-Star Wheelchair Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada.

KNIGHT HELPS BUILD LIBRARY
February 5, 2007 - Brevin Knight's family and their Assist by Knight Foundation commemorated the opening of a new children’s library at the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope with a special ribbon ceremony. The center is a 200-person homeless shelter for women and children that have served the Charlotte for more than a century.

BOBCATS HOST SPECIAL OLYMPICS CLINIC
January 23, 2007 - The Bobcats hosted approximately 85 Special Olympians for an hour, putting on a brief basketball clinic for a faction of Charlotte’s most enthusiastic and loyal fans.
