Bobcats Beach Blast Reading Time Out
Three members of the Charlotte Bobcats Dance Team -- Tasha, Rashawn and Callie -- and mascot Rufus Lynx celebrated summertime at Ray’s Splash Planet on Wednesday, July 28, 2004. The dance team members read two books to kids from Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department Summer Camps. The kids enjoyed hearing both "The Rainbow Fish" and "The Little Mermaid".
Bobcats “goodie bags” were handed out to everyone. The kids enjoyed getting Bobcats t-shirts, pencils, stickers, puzzles and magazines! After participating in the Reading Time Out, the kids enjoyed the waterpark at Ray’s Splash Planet and also spending time with Rufus.
