The Charlotte Bobcats Arena opens in Fall 2005 as home of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats and the WNBA’s Charlotte Sting. The state-of-the-art facility is located in the heart of Charlotte, N.C., convenient to both Uptown residents and travelers from three interstates, and within walking distance of more than 4,000 hotel rooms and nearly 150 restaurants. Unlike anything visitors or event planners have seen before, the Charlotte Bobcats Arena will be alive with entertainment from professional and college sporting competitions to concerts and family events.
