Collins has big day, Bobcats honored

Sherron Collins scored a summer-high 32 points in Charlotte's 80-77 loss to Orlando on Friday, as the Bobcats finished 3-2 overall. Derrick Brown and Gerald Henderson were named to the All-Summer League Second Team.

Henderson's extra effort pays off

Gerald Henderson never gave up on the final play of the Bobcats Summer League game against Philadelphia on Thursday and was able to tip in the game-winning basket with 0.1 seconds remaining, running Charlotte’s record to 3-1 in Orlando.

Charlotte gets first summer loss

The Bobcats fell to 2-1 in the Orlando Summer League as the Celtics handed them their first loss, 92-71. Derrick Brown led the Bobcats with 12 points and Jeremy Pargo followed with 10 points and a game-high eight assists.
