Thursday night, chefs, winemakers, distillers, brewers and roasters converged at the Rose Quarter to compete in the fifth annual Sandwich Invitational, one of the premier events of Feast Portland, a three-day city-wide event highlighting the best of Portland's culinary scene. And considering the setting, many of of the participants chose to show their support for the Trail Blazers while slinging sandwiches for the hundreds in attendance.
While many wore shirts or jerseys, some went a step further, such as the folks at Stumptown Coffee, who served cold brew ice cream sandwiches stamped with both the Trail Blazers pinwheel and the Stumptown horseshoe logo. And to wash down those sandwiches, Stumptown cold brew poured through an ice luge featuring the Trail Blazers logo.
