The Show Must Go On: Blazers Welcome Cavs Following Portland Snowstorm

There is no rest for the weary as the Portland Trail Blazers (17-23) host the reinging NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers (28-9) Wednesday evening following a hectic travel schedule for both teams in the aftermath of a snowstorm that blanketed the Pacific Northwest.

The Trail Blazers were diverted to Seattle following Tuesday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers, arriving back in Portland Wednesday mid-day, while the Cavaliers landed in the Rose City early Wednesday morning after their loss in Salt Lake City to the Utah Jazz. 

CJ McCollum sparked the Blazers with 25 points in his team's 108-87 victory over the Lakers at STAPLES Center, marking his sixth-straight game of 25-plus points. Damian Lillard recovered from a slow start to finish with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Big man Ed Davis returned to the roatation to record eight points and eight rebounds against his former team.

LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting in their loss to the Jazz Tuesday night, while Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love scored 20 and 12 points, respectively. Recent acquisition Kyle Korver scored two points on 1-of-5 shooting from the field in his Cavalier debut.
