What 2 Watch 4 - Trail Blazers Vs. Rockets

LaMarcus Aldridge vs. Terrence Jones

Tonight is a special homecoming for someone on the Rockets sideline. Portland native and Jefferson High School graduate Terrence Jones figures to have plenty of fans inside a Moda Center full of screaming BlazerManiacs. Although Jones, in his second NBA season with Houston, has seen action in Portland twice before, he has yet to score nor has he heard his name announced as a member of the starting lineup. Both are likely to change for the 21-year-old, who has soared since being named to the Rockets’ starting lineup on Nov. 13. The sophomore standout has posted averages of 12.7 points and 8.6 rebounds in 14 games during that time, but he faces one of the game’s best at his position tonight. When it comes to soaring, LaMarcus Aldridge has been doing that all season long. The eighth-best scorer (23.2) and rebounder (10.0) in the league this season, Aldridge has been taking home the hardware of late – He has been named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week twice in the last three weeks. And like Jones, the two-time All-Star will be facing an opponent that resides in his home state – And one he has had success against in the past. Houston represents one of three Western Conference teams in which Aldridge has posted a career scoring average of better than 20 points.
