East Meets West As Wheelchair All-Stars Take Center Court At NBA All-Star Jam Session 2005

Portland Wheel Blazer, Kirk Parkhurst, was selected to be a part of the Western Conference All-Star team. He will compete with and against 23 of the best wheelchair basketball players from 17 cities across teh United States on Thursday, February 17 at 5 pm.
The competition will be held at the 2005 NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by Nokia on Jam Session’s Center Court. Jam Session, which features more than 300,000 square feet of interactive basketball games, activities and entertainment, will take place at the Colorado Convention Center February 17-21, during NBA All-Star 2005.
The 2005 NBA/NWBA All-Star Wheelchair Classic will feature the top wheelchair athletes selected from wheelchair teams that are members of the NWBA. The players, selected by the NWBA, are divided into East and West All-Stars.
