Portland Trail Blazers fans will be able to catch all six of the team’s games at the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League being held July 6-15 at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada on the team’s flagship station,
Newsradio 750 KXL.
The broadcasts will air game nights at 10:00 p.m., on a delay basis, with Brian Wheeler and Mike Rice calling all the action.
Fans will get their first opportunity to listen in to the play of the teams’ number one draft pick, Martell Webster, as he challenges top picks from around the league.
The Trail Blazers summer team roster also includes fan favorites Sebastian Telfair, Travis Outlaw, and Ha Seung-Jin. The Trail Blazers will be the only team broadcasting from the Vegas Summer League.
Wheeler will also provide live updates Monday through Friday mornings on KXL at 8:15am, and Mike Barrett, Mike Rice and Brian Wheeler will host a special Courtside Monday Night, July 11, as it airs live from ESPN SportsZone Las Vegas.
In addition to listening to games on KXL, fans will be able to watch streaming highlights, read player journals, and listen to interviews from the summer league on blazers.com. Video highlights and features will also be provided to Trail Blazers TV and Cable affiliates KGW and Fox Sports Net.
NBATV will broadcast three Trail Blazers games on a delay basis.
