Jarrett Jack scored the go-ahead points on a three-point play with 19 seconds remaining in the second overtime as the Trail Blazers (20-13) won on the road against the Chicago Bulls (12-19).

The Trail Blazers have now won 15 of their last 16 games, their last two victories coming on the road.

Brandon Roy led the way for the Trail Blazers with 25 points and a career-high 11 assists. Roy was bumped around during the game but managed to play through the pain to lead his team to another victory.

Roy was pleased with his team's toughness.

"It was a big win for us," Roy said. "We were able to come out on the road and everyone stepped up tonight. I took a couple of bangs here and there and just fought through it. And I think everyone on our team did that for us as well."

Travis Outlaw scored 21 points off the bench and Jack added 17 points and five assists as the Portland reserves played another strong game.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 14 points and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds, playing well against the Bulls' veteran front-court of Joe Smith and Ben Wallace.

Ben Gordon, the Bulls' super-sub, scored 32 points in 45 minutes off the bench. Gordon was forced to pick up the slack for the Bulls, who lost one of their young stars early in the game. Luol Deng, averaging 18.5 points per game, left in the second quarter after re-aggravating an Achilles' injury.

Smith scored a season-high 31 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots for the Bulls.

Trail Blazers head coach Nate McMillan was impressed with his young team's perseverance.

"This was just a true test of these guys' character," McMillan said. "To come in here playing a tough team like Chicago we knew we were in for a tough game. We had two opportunities to win the game in overtime and it was great to see the team not have a letdown."

Portland's outside shooting was a big reason for their success. The Trail Blazers hit 11-of-22 shots from beyond the three-point line, while the Bulls hit just 4-of-24 from deep.

The Trail Blazers were also very strong from the free-throw line. They hit 20-of-23 free-throws, led by Roy hitting 10-of-11.

Portland will go for its third win in a row against Utah on Saturday night. The Trail Blazers return home to face the Jazz, the only team to defeat the Trail Blazers since December 1. This will be the final game this season between division-rivals Portland and Utah.
