Trail Blazers Place Abdur-Rahim and Miles on Injured List

The Portland Trail Blazers placed forwards Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Darius Miles on the Injured List and activated rookie center Ha Seung Jin from the Injured List.

Abdur-Rahim is suffering from loose bodies in his right elbow and has sat out seven games since mid-December. He has appeared in 23 games this season, averaging 15.7ppg and 8.0rpg while shooting 50.8% from the field. Miles was injured in the Trail Blazers game at the L.A. Clippers on January 5th and has a left knee medial contusion. He is averaging 12.6ppg and 5.1ppg in 29 games this season.

Ha, drafted by Portland in the second round (46th pick overall) of the 2004 NBA Draft, was signed by the Trail Blazers on December 26th. He was placed on the Injured List on December 27th with lower back pain.
