Portland, OR.

The Trail Blazers and the American Red Cross are teaming up, for the third year, to help save lives by donating blood.
The blood drive will be held at the South Entrance of the Rose Garden, Monday, April 5 from 9:00 am–2:00 pm. Appointments can be made by calling 503-797-9667. Appointments are strongly recommended, but walk-ins will be taken if time and space allow.
Raffle tickets will be distributed to all donors and great prizes will be awarded hourly. Parking for the event is provided free of charge in the Garden Garage and Max stops right outside the Rose Quarter.
American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Regional Blood Services is the sole supplier of blood products to more than 80 hospitals in Oregon, Washington and Southeast Alaska. The region is the tenth largest of 36 American Red Cross blood regions. In order to meet the needs of its patients, PNWRBS must collect at least 5,000 pints of blood each week.
The Red Cross is always in need of blood. Someone needs blood in this country every two seconds - that's one of every ten hospital patients. A single blood donation has the potential to touch up to three lives.
