Portland Trail Blazers’ Bill Schonely hosted the Medtronic sponsored event on February 10,2005.

The event was for Portland-area business leaders who are interested in learning more about how AED’s (automated external defibrillators) are helping to save lives in the Portland community, how the Portland Trail Blazers joined the cause, and to hear from someone whose life was saved with an AED. The event is also presented by the American Heart Association.
