After four straight games against teams from California, the Trail Blazers return home to host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
The Trail Blazers won the middle two games of the Californian four, beating the Clippers in Los Angeles and then the Lakers back in Portland.
Brandon Roy has averaged 23 points, 7.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds in the last two games after missing the previous two with an ankle injury.
Travis Outlaw has been the Trail Blazers' most consistent player of late, averaging 19 points per game over the last eight contests.
Both teams have won just two of their last six games, and both have lost two in a row. This is as a massive surprise for the Suns, as they've struggled since Shaquille O'Neal entered their lineup six games ago.
O'Neal is averaging just 10 points and 10 rebounds per game since joining the Suns and is attempting a career-low seven shots per game.
O'Neal's struggles do not mean that LaMarcus Aldridge and Joel Przybilla will have an easy game inside for the Trail Blazers. The Suns have another All-Star big man, Amare Stoudamire, who is averaging nearly 30 points per game since O'Neal's arrival allowed him to move from center to power forward.
The Trail Blazers will look to take advantage of a porous Suns defense that is allowing an average of 117.0 points over the last four games.
The Suns do have a high powered offense, however, and the Trail Blazers' guards will need to contain two-time MVP Steve Nash.
Roy, Portland's All-Star shooting guard, believes that his team will rally for a victory after Sunday's tough loss to Golden State, saying, "We have to come together and try to get a big win at home against Phoenix."
The game is at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Network. As always, the game can be heard on 750am KXL.
