December 11, 2004

Reef House Kids celebrated their first Christmas at the Reef House in Atlanta, Georgia on December 10th by going ice skating then dinner at Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles. The kids then returned to Reef House for the lock-in forthe night.

Staff spent the night at Reef House with the kids and on Saturday prepared breakfast and the entire group enjoyed a party with local motorcycle group The Black Angels.

The Angels brought each child a shopping basket full of toys. The children enjoyed playing games, dancing and eating with The Black Angels.

After the party staff took each child to their respective homes and returned to Reef House to close the doors until Tuesday, January 4, 2005, when Reef House Kids will return from their holiday vacation for the second half of the after-school programming provided by Future Foundation, a non-profit agency established by Portland Trailblazer, Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
