The police in Anderson, Indiana released a statement this morning stating that Zach Randolph will not be charged with anything related to the shooting incident that occurred on August 22.

Trail Blazers President Steve Patterson made the following comments on the latest developments:

"I am pleased to learn that Zach will not be charged with anything related to the incident in Indiana and according to the police, gave a truthful complete statement regarding the shooting. Although there were no charges, Zach and for that matter all of our players, need to be aware of their surroundings and work hard to not put themselves in compromising situations. In accordance with our pledge, we will continue to work with our players to make sure they understand what it means to be a Portland Trail Blazer and the responsibilities that go along with representing this community.”
