Outlaw Hosts Basketball Clinic

April 13, 2004

Trail Blazers rookie Travis Outlaw gave 10 kids a dream basketball clinic as part of the ‘New Kids on the Block’ promotion with Stark’s Vacuum Cleaners.

Nine year old Miles Glover of Portland was the winner of the contest. As part of the prize, Outlaw joined Glover and his youth basketball team for practice at Jefferson High School.

Outlaw worked with the team to provide pointers, as well as help them with drills and basketball fundamentals. He also answered questions, signed autographs and even had to do push-ups with the rest of the team when he missed shots!

Glover entered to win at Stark's Vacuum Cleaners and won this block party with the Blazers new kid on the block, Travis Outlaw. Glover's mother will also win a new vacuum cleaner from Stark's.
