The NBA announced today that
Qyntel Woods of the Portland Trail Blazers has been suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.
Woods’ suspension will begin with the first game of the 2004-05 NBA regular season for which he is eligible to play.
The NBA, NBA teams and the NBPA are prohibited from publicly disclosing information regarding the testing or treatment of any NBA player in the program, other than to announce a player’s suspension or dismissal from the League.
