    Logo Usage and Information
The pinwheel that appears on the floor (as well as the uniforms) is an actual representation of the game of basketball. The circle in the middle is the ball. The five line strokes in one color represent the five players on a team, the other five line strokes in a different color represent the opposing five players.

It’s been our logo since 1970 (the start of our franchise here in Portland) and remains an important part of the history and tradition of our team. It's staying central to the graphic representation of our team. We have incorporated a secondary logo featuring a basketball and flames into our broadcasts, but it in no way will replace our main heritage logo.
