The Northwest's NBA Rivalry Will Be Carried In Both
Seattle and Portland Markets
FSN announced today the addition of the October 29 preseason matchup
between the Seattle SuperSonics and Portland Trail Blazers at Key Arena
to the network's broadcast schedule. The game will air at 7:30p.m. in
both the Seattle and Portland markets. FSN's Sonics broadcast team of
Kevin Calabro, Craig Ehlo and Brian Davis will call the game.
The October 29 contest marks the final preseason game for both teams
before beginning their respective 2004-05 campaigns on Wednesday,
November 3rd. FSN will produce 71 Sonics telecasts and will carry 35 Trail
Blazers games throughout the NBA regular season.
FSN will begin its regular season Sonics coverage on November 3rd with
the team's opener at the LA Clippers, live from the STAPLES Center at
7:30pm. FSN Live will air before the game, after the game and at 10pm.
The Blazers open the regular season the same evening on the road against
the Golden State Warriors. FSN will air the first of their Trail
Blazers telecasts on November 5th at 7:00p.m. for the team's home opener
versus the LA Clippers. FSN Live's 6:30p.m. show that evening will be on
location from the Rose Garden floor.
