HERITAGE - Our family tree grows every day, but it's our roots that keep us strong.

Portland hosts one of the NBA’s richest alumni core, with NBA Champions like Maurice Lucas, Bob Gross, Larry Steele and Lloyd Neal, and beloved players from the exciting 80s and 90s including Jerome Kersey, Kevin Duckworth, Chris Dudley, Michael Holton and Brian Grant making the city their home. Each season, Trail Blazers alumni participate in numerous team events, participate in game night activities and work alongside current team members on charitable efforts. The Trail Blazers Alumni team traveled the state of Oregon for 20 years playing basketball games and raising money for charities. The team raised over $2.5 Million during their tour.

Special events honoring Trail Blazers heritage teams and players have been hosted at the Rose Garden. The 30th anniversary of the 1977 NBA Championship team, the Hall of Fame Induction and retirement of Clyde Drexler’s jersey, and the retirement of Lionell Hollins’ jersey are just a few.

The Trail Blazers dedicate game nights throughout the season to honor local cultural communities. Celebrations include Black History Night, Latino Night, Native American Night and Asian American Night.
