Averaged 8.2 points and 7.9 rebounds and led the 1970-71 team in field goal shooting, making 48.8% of his shots . . . He improved to 11.7 ppg, 10.6 rpg and 52.5% shooting his second year with Portland, all three marks being season bests during his 10 years in the league . . . Scored in double-digits in 50 of 81 games in during 1971-72 and tallied 20 or more points six times . . . His career high scoring night came 12/71/71 at Philadelphia when he netted 26 points . . .He recorded four 20-plus rebounding games in the two seasons, including a career best 21 at Cincinnati 1/6/71 . . . Put together two triple-doubles as a Blazer---getting 20 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists against the Lakers 12/14/71 and 16 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Baltimore 1/11/72 . . . The 10 assists he dished out were both career highs . . . Had a hot 30-game stretch in middle of the second season when he averaged 13.0 points and 13.2 rebounds and shot 54% from the floor . . .
