Over the course of the season you will notice that we are highlighting five different areas of our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. More information about our work can be found at www.trailblazers.com/live. We are asking fans to join us in our efforts to be more environmentally conscious and to help us reach our ambitious impact goals over the next 10 years.

View what is happening for each Green Game below!

Our first Green Game is November 13th and is focused on TRANSPORTATION, presented by Uber. As the Trail Blazers’ official rideshare partner, Uber is committed to offsetting the carbon footprint of the game against Denver on November 13th. Enter the promo code SAVEATREE before your next ride from now until the game. For every ride you share with a friend, Uber will save 1 acre of U.S. Redwood Forest, offsetting 1 ton of carbon.

Here's what you can expect to see at the Transportation Game:

  • It's Bike to Blazers Night! Every ticket purchased through this exclusive link(PROMO CODE: BIKE) comes with a reflective pinwheel sticker for your bike, a chance to win an autographed bike helmet signed by Damian Lillard, and will benefit Community Cycling Center, our nonprofit beneficiary of the night!
  • BIKETOWN is offering free rides to this game at Moda Center on their cool orange bikes. Download the App and use code: BLAZERS16 to access your free BikeTown ride. Find bikes and stations near you.
  • You won’t want to miss our special Item of the Game – Looptworks is upcycling unique backpacks from Trail Blazers jerseys and basketballs. Looptworks rescues excess materials and upcycles them into premium goods. Their sustainable, eco-friendly products are made in limited editions, and in the process save materials from landfills or incinerators. Choosing upcycled goods over products made using virgin materials saves water and air. Plus a portion of all of the sales will go to the Community Cycling Center.
  • The Community Cycling Center will also be our 5050 partner and beneficiary.
  • We have 90 bike parking spots by the Box Office and 24 at the Annex Garage – please bike to the game if you are able!
  • Thanks to Christenson Electric we have 26 Electric parking spots, which is the largest concentration of EV stations in the state.
  • We are a public transit hub - on the bus, MAX, and street car lines.

Urban Gleaners delivers thousands of pounds of food from the Moda Center to families in need throughout the year. Watch how Papa Murphy’s, The Trail Blazers, Levy, and Urban Gleaners work together at the Moda Center to reduce our waste and help feed food insecure families. Take part in these activities at Moda Center:

  • 5050 Raffle: You’ll see our friends from Urban Gleaners selling 5050 tickets – support them and you might win some money!
  • Silent Auction: Urban Gleaners will also benefit from our silent auction located at the 5050 booth by entry A7, featuring exclusive Trail Blazers items.
  • Rip City Magazine: Keep an eye out for the Rip City Magazine feature about our commitment to becoming a zero waste facility.
  • Waste Sustainability Goals: Our waste diversion rate is currently at 90% - Help us reach our zero waste goal by recycling and composting at Moda Center!
