Podcast: Rip City Report, Episode 82

After an busy offseason, training camp and preseason, the 2016-17 NBA regular season is finally upon us. And in celebration of the occasion, Joe Freeman of The Oregonian/OregonLive.com and I, Casey Holdahl of TrailBlazers.com, hit up the Moda Center basement studio to record a season preview edition of the Rip City Report podcast, which you can listen to below...

In this week's show we give our thoughts on how the Trail Blazers stack up in the Western Conference, how the mindset and familiarity is different this year as opposed to last, give our predictions of how the West standings are going to shake out, discuss whether Damian Lillard belongs in the MVP conversation and answer a host of listener questions about Noah Vonleh’s role, Evan Turner’s playing time, what other sports the players might excel in, the Meyers Leonard’s Voodoo Donut and reasons for optimism this season. Hopefully this edition of the Rip City Report will have you ready for the home opener tomorrow versus the Jazz (tipoff at 7 pm on KGW and 620 AM).

You can find the Rip City Report on SoundcloudiTunes and Stitcher. And leave us a review on iTunes if you get a chance. We really do read them!
