Things looked to be just about back to normal on Tuesday, following what has been an unusual exhibition season so far in Blazernation.

When you turn the ball over 21 times, you know you’ve made more than a few bad decisions with the ball.
But even though the Portland Trail Blazers (2-2) made plenty of mistakes in front of a sellout Rose Garden crowd during a 93-80 loss to the Utah Jazz (2-1), there was one decision that seemed vindicated as time expired: the decision to trade for rookie Nicolas Batum. Batum, playing extended minutes for the first time this preseason, finished with a game-high 16 points to go along with three blocked shots, three rebounds, two steals and two assists in an effort best described as yeoman.
