ELIGIBILITY. To enter in the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes you Must be a resident of the state of Oregon, or a resident of the following Washington zip codes: 98520, 98531, 98532, 98568, 98569, 98577, 98582, 98595, 98604, 98612, 98624, 98631, 98638, 98644, 98647, 98660, 98661, 98662, 98663, 98664, 98665, 98666, 98667, 98674, 98682, 98683, 98684, 98687.” 18 years at the time of entry, except employees of Trail Blazers Inc., JetBlue, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties Inc., and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, such employees are not eligible for entry.
ENTRY. The Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes will begin at 12:01 a.m. (P.S.T.) on December 10, 2008 and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (P.S.T.) on January 10, 2009. There are two (2) ways to enter: (1) Enter online by visiting the contest page on HYPERLINK "http://www.jetblue.com/trailblazersflyaway" www.jetblue.com/trailblazersflyaway, completing all of the required information and following all instructions. Submit your entry by clicking on the "SEND" button. (2) Enter by mail by printing your full name, address, telephone number (including area code), e-mail address (where applicable), on a 3" x 5" card or piece of paper and mailing it to: Trail Blazers Inc., Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes Entries, One Center Court, Suite 200, Portland, Oregon 97227. No mechanical reproductions permitted. One (1) entry per person. Trail Blazers Inc. and JetBlue (together "Sponsor") will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or illegible entries, or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. In the event of a dispute, all e-mail entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with such e-mail account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an e-mail account shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole, reasonable discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes.
PRIZES AND ODDS. One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries to be held on or about January 12, 2009. The winner will receive:
Two (2) roundtrip JetBlue Travel Certificates (together, "Travel Certificates") good for coach travel for Winner and one (1) guest from the city served by JetBlue nearest to the Winner’s residence to Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Airport – LGB. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Travel Certificates is $598.00; actual value may vary depending on winner's departure city and date of travel.
Two (2) tickets to see the Portland Trail Blazers play the Los Angeles Clippers in Los Angeles, CA on January 26, 2009 (together, "Tickets"). ARV of Tickets is $350. Seat location of Tickets determined by the Trail Blazers in its sole discretion.
Two (2) nights hotel accommodations in the Los Angeles area on January 25, 2009 and January 26, 2009 (the "Hotel Stay"). ARV of Hotel Stay is $1000. Hotel chosen by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Two (2) Portland Trail Blazers/JetBlue Prize packs (together, "Prize Packs"). ARV of Prize Packs is $50. Contents of Prize Packs determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The retail value of the prize is $1,998. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE. Winner will be notified by telephone on or about January 12, 2009. Return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected randomly from among the remaining entrants. Winner may waive his or her right to receive a prize. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed, except that prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any federal, state, local, and municipal taxes on prizes. Winner is also responsible for all expenses associated with the prize, unless otherwise indicated. Winner and winner’s guest will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law). Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release as requested by Sponsor, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited, participation in the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's consent to the publication, dissemination and use of his or her name, photograph, image, likeness and voice by Sponsor and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties Inc. in any media at any time for any purpose without any additional compensation to, permission from or inspection by entrant.
PARTICIPATION. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. By entering, entrants further agree to be bound by the terms relating to the use of this website, including its Privacy Policy. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes. Should the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. CONSTRUCTION. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant and Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Oregon, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Oregon. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the invalidity or unenforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
GENERAL RELEASE. By entering the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes entrants release Trail Blazers Inc., JetBlue, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties Inc., any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Jet Away to LA with JetBlue and the Trail Blazers Sweepstakes or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light) .
