“Oh, Say Can You Sing?”

Anthem stylists of every age and persuasion are invited to tryout for a performance at a 2007-08 Trail Blazers game. Auditions are slated for Wednesday, September 26, from Noon to 6:00pm in the Rose Room at the Rose Garden.

Solo singers, duets and trios, quartets and choruses are invited. From guitars to sitars, pianos to kotos, national anthem performers are welcome to find the key to Francis Scott Key. Know the lyrics to “O, Canada”? Well, there’s a December date with Toronto, so we’ll be looking for Canadian anthem performers as well.

Auditions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Performances are a cappella. Parking for the auditions is free in the Garden Garage. If you are unable to attend the auditions, you may send a CD/DVD of your performance to:
